Disease-free heart

N. Nagaraj

Here comes a book that would be of great help to heart patients. The book, Reversal of Heart Disease in Five Easy Steps, has been written by Dr Bimal Chhajer, cardiologist and author of many books for heart patients.

According to a WHO (World Health Organisation) report, India has the highest number of heart patients in the world — the number was about 1.5 crore in 1991, 5 crore in 2001 and by 2010, there will be as many as 10 crore heart patients in India.

Experts in the field prescribe the following for keeping heart ailments at bay: zero-oil cooking and nil consumption of cholesterol in food; regular walk of half-an-hour, 20 minutes of yoga and stress reduction.
