Mutual Funds Markets - New Fund Offer DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund has launched DSP BlackRock World Mining Fund, an open-ended equity scheme. The fund’s objective to seek capital appreciation by investing predominantly in the units of BlackRock Global Funds — World Mining Fund. The scheme may also invest in other similar overseas mutual fund schemes. Further, a certain portion of the fund’s corpus will also be invested in money market securities and/or money market/liquid schemes of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund. An exit load of 1 per cent will be charged under the scheme if the investments are redeemed before 12 months. The NFO opens on November 23 and will remain open till December 18. Fidelity Mutual Fund has launched a new open ended equity growth scheme named Fidelity India Value Fund. The scheme would aim to generate long-term capital appreciation from a diversified portfolio of predominantly equity and equity related securities, in the Indian markets with higher focus on undervalued securities. The scheme will also be looking at opportunities in the international securities market. It will invest 80 to 100 per cent of its assets in Indian equity securities and up to 10 per cent of assets in foreign securities including overseas ETFs with medium to high risk profile; and up to 20 per cent of its assets in debt securities, money market instruments, cash and domestic ETFs, with low to medium risk profile. The scheme will be benchmarked against BSE 200. The NFO will be open for subscription till December 15 and the minimum application amount will be Rs 5,000.
