Chart Focus

We recommend a buy in Haldyn Glass Gujarat at current levels. The stock has had a gritty rise from the low of Rs 30 made in July 2006. The dark cloud cover made in December 2006 was negated by the strong green candle seen in January 2007. The chart is just beginning to turn positive from a long- term angle as the 10-month ROC moves in to the positive zone and the 14-month RSI is positioned at 63. The long-term targets for this stock are Rs 100 and then Rs 130. Short-term investors can buy this stock with a stop at Rs 58. The short-term targets for this stock would be Rs 76 and then Rs 84.

Follow-up

Cranes Software (Rs 99.2): Cranes software rose 7 per cent last week to reverse from an intra week high of Rs 104.8. The short-term outlook is beginning to look up. A close above Rs 103 should be the cue for short-term investors to buy in to this stock. The long-term view and targets for Cranes Software are unaltered.
