Tax refunds credit through ECS

EFFECTIVE June 2006, tax refunds will be sent directly to the taxpayers' bank account.

The refunds would be sent through the electronic clearing system to the respective bank accounts of the assessees. The bank account number has to be furnished by assessees for this purpose.
