GM's affordable luxury drive

GM IS seeking to pass on benefits to its customers on cost savings derived by indigenisation of spare parts. GM has reduced the prices of critical spares of the Chevrolet Optra and the Tavera by 26-52 per cent to keep its promise of providing affordable luxury to its customers. Tavera's oil filter and fuel filter prices have been slashed, which is expected to bring down the ownership cost per kilometre by 25 per cent. Spares of the Optra covered under the price cut include front strut/shock absorber, front disc brakes, and clutch and pressure plates.
