Principal MF declares 40% dividend

  • Principal Mutual has declared a dividend of 40 per cent on Principal Resurgent India Equity.

    This is the second dividend declared on the fund in 2005. The record date for the dividend payout is July 29.

  • ING Vysya Mutual has declared a dividend of 5 per cent on ING Vysya Midcap Fund. The declaration comes barely two months after the fund's launch. The record date for dividend is July 25.

  • Kotak Mutual has revised the load structure across several of its funds. The changes are effective July 21.

    For investments through systematic investment plans of Kotak 30, Kotak Balance, Kotak Tech, Kotak Global India, Kotak Midcap, Kotak Opportunities, Kotak Contra and Kotak MNC, the load structure will be as follows: For investments up to Rs 25 lakh per instalments, an entry load of 2 per cent and an exit load of one per cent will be levied.

    For investments higher than Rs 25 lakh and less than Rs 3 crore, the entry load will be 2.25 per cent.

    For Kotak Opportunities and Kotak Contra, for non-SIP investments, an exit load of 1 per cent will be charged for redemption within six months.

  • HDFC Mutual has extended the new fund offer period for HDFC Multiple Yield Fund- Plan 2005 to August 5.

  • Fitch has assigned AAA rating to the preferred units issued by the newly launched Benchmark Split Capital Fund.

  • Chola Mutual Fund is launching Chola Short Term Floating Rate Plan.

    The minimum investment is Rs 5,000. Dividend and growth options are available. The offer opens on August 2 and closes on August 4.

  • Birla Sun Life Mutual has mopped over Rs 500 crore from the offering of Birla GenNext Fund.
