The Discover tempts

BAJAJ has launched a new version of the Discover DTS-I, making it even more tempting. The 125-cc bike comes with attractive body graphics, stickers, alloy wheels and rides on the SNS (spring-in-spring) suspension at the rear. The 17-inch alloy wheels are lighter and stronger than the regular steel rim wheels providing better efficiency. The six-spoke wheels further enhance the muscular styling.

The self-start option adds more value. The SNS suspension consists of dual co-axial springs. The thicker outer spring absorbs the impact of large bumps and the inner spring absorbs the impact of smaller bumps. The fluid grab rail, unlike the regular metal grab, gives it a smarter finish in the rear.

Honda cares

Honda Siel Cars has announced a special package for its customers in Gujarat affected by the recent floods. It is offering a free check-up of Honda cars to identify the extent of damag.

It is also offering a service package that includes a 50 per cent discount on spares and zero labour charges. Honda Siel Cars has four dealerships in Gujarat, one each in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Surat. The customers, irrespective of where they are located, can contact the nearest Honda dealership.

Machine for the young at heart

Porsche has launched the 911 Carrera Cabriolet, a convertible. A super-efficient 325 HP 3.6-litre engine powers the car to 100 kmph in an eye-popping 5.2 seconds. A 330-mm disc-brake system mounted on all four wheels brings the machine to a smooth, quick stop. The sports car carries a price tag of Rs 75 lakh. Once behind the wheel, the adrenalin keeps flowing.

Aadi special from TVS Motor

The Tamil (lunar calendar) month of Aadi has turned auspicious even for the automobile industry. As part of its silver jubilee celebrations, TVS Motor has come out with attractive finance schemes during Aadi for customers in Tamil Nadu. You can drive home the Star DLX with a down payment of Rs 2,999 or at a lower interest rate of 4.99 per cent. The Centra, the Victor GLX and the GX are available for a down payment of Rs 1,001.
