Date for electronic filing of TDS returns extended

The Finance Ministry has extended the due date for the electronic filing of annual returns for tax collection at source for the financial year 2004-05. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended it from June 30 to July 31. The extension has been allowed only in respect of those statements that are to be filed in the electronic format.
