The Hindu Business Line : Tata MF launches Infrastructure Fund

The fund house proposes to declare a dividend on ING Vysya Domestic Opportunities Fund and ING Vysya Equity Fund. The record dates are December 17 and December 24 respectively.

UTI Mutual Fund has declared dividends of 20 per cent (Rs 2 per unit) under its UTI Brand Value fund and 30 per cent (Rs 3 per unit) under its UTI MNC fund. The record date is December 24.

Birla Mutual Fund proposes to declare dividend for Birla Dividend Yield Plus. The record date for the consideration of dividend is December 24.

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund proposes to wind up its Franklin India Maxima Fund with effect from December 22. A meeting is to be held on December 15 to get approval from the majority of unitholders.

Tata Mutual Fund has launched a new scheme, Tata Infrastructure Fund. The fund will invest at least 70 per cent of its assets in companies in the infrastructure sector, while up to 30 per cent assets will be invested in debt or money market instruments. The fund offers dividend and growth options. The minimum investment amount is Rs 5,000. The offer closes on December 22.

Birla Mutual has revised the entry load for Birla Advantage Fund, Birla Dividend Yield Plus, Birla MNC, Birla Midcap, Birla India Opportunities and Birla Balance, with effect from December 10.

The load for purchases less than Rs 2 crore is 2.25 per cent and 0.50 per cent for purchases between Rs 2 crore and Rs 5 crore. There is no entry load for amounts higher than Rs 5 crore. Exit load is nil.
