The Hindu Business Line : International calling cards

Net 4 India has launched Phonewala International Travellers card for those travelling abroad. The card will enable users to make calls to any destination, including India, from the select 14 countries — the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Austria — and save money on calls and hotel surcharges. The user will be able call India from the US at Rs 15 per minute. The detailed tariff plan for all the countries can be downloaded from the company's Web site www.phonewala.com.

The card — available in denominations of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 — will allow users to make a call from any telephone booth in the country he is visiting by dialling a toll-free number.
