Jet Air launches anniversary offer

JET Airways has launched "anniversary upgrade offer" which allows passengers to upgrade their economy class tickets to business class on 56 sectors by paying Rs 500-1,200.

The new promotional offer is open from July 5 to October 31. During the period, a passenger can get an "anniversary upgrade offer" ticket on the Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram sector for Rs 16,625 against the normal business class fare of Rs 22,825.

Similarly, a passenger on the Delhi-Hyderabad sector can avail himself of the offer for Rs 10,240 (actual price: Rs 13,820). For Bangalore-Hyderabad it is Rs 5,480 (Rs 7,335). These special fares will have to be booked at least 10 days in advance. The offer is open to both Indian residents and foreign nationals holding resident or work permits.

In case of cancellations 10 days before departure, the entire amount will be refunded after deducting Rs 100. However, only 50 per cent of the amount will be refunded on any cancellation made within 10 days of the departure.

Further, frequent flier programme members will be credited with economy class miles.
