RBI panel report on new private banks
The RBI committee report on the review of norms for allowing new private sector banks has made various suggestions.
The important recommendations include encouragement of the entry of new banking institutions, enhancement of the initial capital requirement and removal of restrictions on voting rights of shareholders.
