Banks NPAs decline in 1999-2000
The incremental non-performing assets (NPAs) of scheduled commercial banks has shown a decline in 1999-2000, according to a RBI Report on Trends and Progress of Banking in India.
There has been a uniform decline in both the gross and the net NPAs as a percentage of the total assets.
