Crisil reaffirms PFC's bond and FD ratings
Crisil has reaffirmed and removed from rating watch the Rs. 600-crore bond issue of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and the FAAA rating assigned to its fixed deposit programme. The rating reflects the company's dominant position as a lender in the power sector, the huge demand for funds in the power sector and PFC's favourable financial position arising out of a high degree of capitalisation, low capital cost and comfortable spreads.
