I would like to know if there is any program (other than MS Outlook) that can schedule and remind me of my appointments and other date-related matters such as payments for LIC, road tax, licence fees, etc.

The facility is available in the Tasks section of MS Outlook, but I do not want to install the whole MS Office just for this.

Also please let me know if there is any MS PowerPoint viewer.

There are quite a number of organisers available for free download on the Net. You do not need to install MS Outlook just for the organiser.

WinPIM is a personal information management tool, which is a shareware. It is simple and easy to use and you can have it downloaded at this URL:
