Computer Usage Columns - Tip Off Print trouble
When I print any MS-Word document (by using Ctrl + P shortcut key) the first page prints the author's name, printer details and document type. The document gets printed only from the second page. This wastes paper. Please tell me how I can avoid this. Also, when I want to clear contents, do I run dialog box, find dialog box (for example, when we want to clear contents in start-documents, we go to start-settings-taskbar and start menu-start menu programs and clear button) and work on these lines? P. Ram Murthy Regarding your first query, it is possible that the `Print Document Properties' is switched on in your document print settings. That is why it prints the document properties every time you print. To remove it, please go the file menu, click on print, and in the following dialog box, click on options. In the dialog box that opens, please uncheck the check box `Document Properties.' You will find this check box under the heading `Include with document'. As for clearing the run dialog box history, the procedure you have stated should work. If it doesn't, please do the following. Open Internet Explorer, go to the tools menu, and click on Internet Options. In the following dialog box, click on the `clear history' button, then select the contents tab and click on `auto complete.' In the dialog box which appears, click on `clear forms.' This should solve the problem.
