Micro Technologies (India) Ltd has launched a wireless Micro Home Security System. It works by using window and door contacts and motion sensors that run on radio wave frequencies. The sensors and contacts are controlled by self-illuminated keypads t hat can be placed anywhere in the home. The system alerts the home owner through an SMS on his/her mobile during a problem or tampering of the alarm. Additionally, the HSS uses a GSM-based system, which allows the owner to control the security system from anywhere in the world through specialised Internet codes.
