Acme Fitness has introduced the new xRide manufactured by Octane Fitness, a seated elliptical workout. The xRide is said to offer the advantages of traditional standing elliptical cross trainers, including total-body, low-impact cardiovascular workouts — but in a comfortable seated position. Two xRide models are available at the Chennai outlet, the xRide with deluxe electronics, interactive heart rate programmes and telemetry is priced Rs 2.85 lakh; and the xRide with deluxe electronics, interactive heart rate programmes, telemetry and digital contact heart rate sensors is priced Rs 3 lakh.
