No computer duty for schools
For all schools, computers and related systems will now be cheaper.
The Government has granted complete exemption from import duty for computers imported by recognised schools run on a non-commercial basis. This covers second-hand computers and peripherals such as printer, scanner, plotter, monitor, keyboard and storage unit. The exemption was so far available only to government schools. -- BL Research Bureau
