Tanishq's diamond jewellery launched in Kerala

TANISHQ, Titan Industries' jewellery brand, has has launched its new diamond jewellery collection -- Aria -- in the Kerala market at Kochi offering over 80 exquisite designs of earrings, finger rings, bangles and neckwear.

The collections, which are unique in its contemporary white gold look engulfing clusters of diamonds, has been inspired by the traditional seven-stone floral/petal arrangement worn by women since time immemorial, Mr Sashi Menon, Manager, Sales and Marketing said. Tanishq has added a touch of modernity to the collections by the use of various cuts of diamonds like the princess cut and the pear cut apart from the regular round cuts he added.

Mr Menon pointed out that diamond awareness in Kerala was picking up and there was a growing trend for studded jewellery in the State. Kerala would be one of the big target towns for the company as the brand consciousness of the people was high and they were more exposed to branded jewellery.

"One of the primary reasons for the launch of this collection is to reiterate the brand's position of design leadership. We are expecting a substantial turnover from Kerala in the coming years as each city in the State has its own potential," he said.

The first phase of the launch of these new collections was already carried out in four metros and the second phase had commenced from Kochi. At present Tanishq has two showrooms in Kerala and the company had plans to open more centres in various parts of the State soon, he added.

All the diamonds used in the Aria collection are claimed to be of the highest quality and carry the Tanishq certificate. The collections target women of today, with designs representing a seamless blend of the traditional and the modern. Tanishq owes its success to the quality of its products, the guaranteed purity, the exclusive range of designs, the genuineness of the diamonds and the services the company provides, he said.
