US-64 redemption

MUMBAI, Oct. 10
Investors of UTI's flagship scheme US-64 have redeemed units to the tune of Rs 239 crore since the scheme was re-opened under limited repurchase scheme.
The UTI Chairman, Mr M. Damodaran, said in the first two months (August and September) investors redeemed Rs 208 crore and in the first five days of October, the scheme witnessed redemption of Rs 31 crore.
Mr Damodaran said the fund was restructuring the portfolio of US-64. But the September 11 crisis has delayed the restructuring.
