Aluminium:Weak mettle
The international aluminium prices have been swinging like a yo-yo, up one month and down the next in the recent past, driven mainly by market sentiment on the state of the US and European economies and the position of warehouse stocks.

Gold registers 2-way movement
THE gold market last week was somewhat volatile with prices registering two-way movement. Notwithstanding provocations, the yellow metal managed to hold within the $265-270 an ounce level. Official price on Friday was $266.35/oz (London PM fix), showing a marginal gain of 0.5 per cent week-on-week. Silver received support from gold and stayed afloat.
