IA discount for pilgrims

Indian Airlines is offering a concession for pilgrims going for the Amarnath Yatra by a round trip travel in Economy Class between Delhi-Srinagar-Delhi, Delhi-Jammu-Delhi and Jammu-Srinagar-Jammu. The offer will be valid from July 3 to August 14.

Under the scheme, the round trip fares on the Delhi-Srinagar-Delhi sector will be Rs 6,320 against the normal Economy Class fare of Rs 6,880. On the Delhi-Jammu-Delhi sector the pilgrim fare is Rs 6,025 against the normal fare of Rs 6,560, while on the J ammu-Srinagar-Jammu sector the reduced fare is Rs 2,585 against the usual Rs 2,790.

To avail of the discount, travellers who are Indian nationals, are required to be registered as pilgrims with the Jammu and Kashmir authorities and possess a valid identification slip issued by the J&K authorities. -- Our Delhi Bureau
