IPC Brazil meet on October 29

KOCHI, July 5
THE Pepper Exporters and Importers (PEPPER-EXIM) Meeting organised by the International Pepper Community every year is scheduled to be held at Belam, Para in Brazil from October 29 to November 3 this year.
The meeting had now been recognised as the most important international event for pepper. Exporters, importers, grinders, processors and end-users of pepper would meet together at the very unique important meeting to explore their business and share info
rmation related pepper market development and trend. Issues related to production, processing, trade, prices, quality etc. would be discussed at the meeting, Mr K.P.G. Menon, Executive Director, IPC, said.
Delegates from almost all pepper producing countries as Brazil, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, China and Ecuador as well as delegates from major importing/consuming countries as the US, the UK, Russia, the Netherlands, France, Germany, S
pain, Argentina, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan had indicated their interest to participate in the meeting.
In conjunction with the meeting, IPC would organize 29th annual session, pepper exporters meeting, peppertech meeting as well as Committee meetings on quality standardization and marketing, he said. These meetings were restricted for the official and tra
de representative from producing countries, he said.
