Readymade garment exports slip
READYMADE garments, which account close to 13 per cent of the country's aggregate exports and one of the star performers in 2000-01 salutary export growth, has registered a substantial decrease both in terms of volume and value during the first two month s of the current fiscal, signaling serious slippage in the fulfillment of overall textile export target.
