HMT Machine Tools, BARC in pact

BANGALORE: HMT Machine Tools has signed an MoU with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) for the fabrication of housing frames fitted with radiation shielding glass windows.

The fabrication will be made by HMT Machine Tool's Hyderabad division for research facilities at BARC and other units of the Department of Atomic Energy, a HMT press release said.

HMT and BARC have signed MoUs earlier for supply of master slave servo manipulators and rugged duty manipulators.

The MoU was signed by Mr C.J.Aneja, Executive Director, Machine Tools, HMT, and Mr K. Balu, Director, BARC Nuclear Recycle Group. -- Our Bureau
