HYDERABAD: Online Media Solutions Ltd (OMSL), the city-based software solutions provider and Internet service provider (ISP), proposes to offer equity shares to its promoters group on a preferential allotment basis for consideration other than cash.

The OMSL board, at a meeting on Saturday, adopted a resolution to allot 21.47 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each to its promoters -- Mr P.V. Narasimha Rao and Associates -- on a preferential offer basis.

OMSL proposes to convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on May 16 to seek their consent for the proposed preferential issue, according to a company communique to the stock exchanges. -- Our Bureau
