Huawei bags $4.87-m order

BANGALORE: Huawei Technologies, China's largest telecom equipment manufacture and network solutions provider, has won an SDH contract worth $4.87 million from Ecuador Pacifictel.

Under this contract, Huawei will build a new optical network to deliver telecom services for Guayaquil, Duran and Samborondon in the province of Guayas, connecting 24 central offices within the area, a company release said. -- Our Bureau
