Troy Container Line announces direct service to Indian cities

NEW YORK, April 9

THE Troy Container Line's Chairman, Mr Michael Troy, has announced a new, faster service direct to the US from seven major and many inland points in India.

The new service provides fast transit times and competitive rates for both full container movements and LCL freight. To facilitate the new service, Troy Container Line has expanded its agency base in India by adding six new agencies to their network of o ffices.

Mr Troy said that the additional volume generated by this new direct service and the added agency representation would enhance all of the Line's import service from India. Troy Container Line is currently among the top three NVOCC shipping out of India by volume of cargo.

Mr Christopher Hellow, Troy Container Line Import Supervisor and Mr Patrick Mahoney, Customer Service Representative have been designated US coordinates of the new service working out of its headquarter in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Troy Container Line's new LCL service from India offers weekly consolidations inbound from 21 cities including New Delhi, Chennai, Jaipur, Bangalore, Indore, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Hyderabad, Puri, Tuticorin, Coimbatore, Cochin, Kandla, Goa, Kolkata, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Moradabad and Aurangabad. Within the US, the St. George Warehouse network has been designated to handle deconsolidation, he said.

The new direct India service from Troy Container Line also include full movements inbound and outbound, to and from Kolkata, Cochin, Kandla, Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Tuticorin, New Delhi, and all other major inland container depots. The line also offers a we ekly LCL export service to India as well as regular service from India to London and continental European ports and all of Asia, he added.

The six new offices added in India to serve Troy Container Line's new direct service bring the total number of the line's local agencies worldwide to 12. Troy Container Line is committed to fully serving shippers work wide with local, knowledgeable repre sentation, he said.

Troy Container Line is a neutral NVOCC headquartered in New Jersey with over 17 years experience serving the continental US, he said.
