TTK Prestige coopts independent director

BANGALORE: TTK Prestige has inducted Mr R. Rajagopalachari, an independent professional, as an independent director to its board of directors. He will be the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Besides, Mr Rajagopalachari, the Audit Committee will comprise of Mr Ajay I Thakore and Mrs Vandana Walvekar, both being independent directors.

The Board has also announced that Mr T.T.Jagannathan, who has been holding the position of Chairman and Managing Director has become the Executive Chairman effective from April 5. Mr Jagannathan will focus on innovation and long term strategy for the com pany's business. Mr Ravichandran, who has been the Joint Managing Director has been made the Managing Director from the same period as Mr Jagannathan assumed the new responsibility, says a company release. -- Our Bureau
