NEDFi sanctions Rs 28.39 cr for projects in 7 States
THE North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi), in its 20th Directors Committee meeting, sanctioned Rs 28.29 crore for projects spread over the seven North-eastern States. With this, the cumulative sanction of NEDFi to the Sates of the reg ion from 1996-97 to February 28, 2001 rose to Rs 171.66 crore of which the lion's share was received by Assam - Rs 112.33 crore, followed by Meghalaya - Rs 20.82 crore, Arunachal Pradesh - Rs 12.09 crore, Nagaland - Rs 8.56 crore, Manipur - 7.10 crore, T ripura Rs 6.58 crore and Mizoram - Rs 4.18 crore.
