Clear DOEACC `A' level, work in Japan

NEW DELHI: The Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) Society has said that its `A' Level qualifiers are now eligible for working visas in Japan.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) facilitating this has been signed between DOEACC and the Central Academy of Information Technology (CAIT) of Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC), an official statement said.

``As a result of this, `A' Level qualifiers will not be required to produce evidence of work experience to obtain visas for entry to Japan as required otherwise,'' the statement said.

CAIT is a skill standards preparation body under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in Japan and plays a key role in helping the Japanese industry in recruitment. -- Our Bureau
