S.Railways Web site to be WAP-enabled

CHENNAI, Feb. 7
SOUTHERN Railway's Web site (www.southernrailway.org) is going to be WAP-enabled. This would enable WAP-mobile phones users to access important information of Southern Railways in their handsets.
The Chennai-based Front Point Systems, which designed and developed the Web site, would also WAP-enable it in a week, said a company press release.
To browse the site in mobile phones, the users need to bookmark the site on their mobiles to access information such as enquiry services, the release said.
