Gram recovers on stockists buying

NEW DELHI: Barring a rise in wholesale gram prices by Rs 50, the wholesale pulses market generally ruled flat on Friday in restricted trading activity. Gram found support from stockists and gained Rs.50 at Rs.2350-2400 a quintal. Its dal (local) and bes t quality followed suit and traded higher by Rs.50 each at Rs.2700-2750 and Rs.2950-3150 per quintal respectively.

Traders said restricted supply against pick up in stockists buying mainly pushed up gram and its dal prices.
