People GoAir gets first CEO since its inception Our Bureau Mumbai, Jan 31 GoAir, a low-fare airline promoted by the Wadias appointed Mr Edgardo Badiali as its first Chief Executive Officer who would report to Mr Jeh Wadia, the airline’s Managing Director, a statement issued from the company said on Thursday. The airline commenced operations in India in November 2005. Prior to joining GoAir, Mr Badiali was the CEO of Italian low cost airline MyAir. He has also held various senior positions in airlines like Swiss Air and Jet Airways. With over 15 years of senior level European and Indian commercial aviation experience, Mr Badiali would look into day to day operations as well as the growth strategy charted for the airline, added the statement.
