Agricultural Institutions Settlement scheme for farmers Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Agro Industries Corporation is offering a one-time settlement scheme under which farmers who have availed themselves of the hire purchase facility to acquire pump sets can clear off their dues as on March 31 in one go, without penal interest, latest by April 30. Announcing this, a corporation spokesman said if dues outstanding on account of acquisition of tractor, power tiller and pump sets are paid up at one go before April 30, a concession of 50 per cent would be applicable in compounded interest. Details can be had from the Enforcement Officer. Kerala Agro Industries Corporation Ltd, Kisan Jyoti, Fort, Thiruvananthapuram, the spokesman added.
