Escotel ties up with Federal Bank

KOCHI: Escotel Mobile Communications Ltd is to provide free mobile phone to all account holders, both savings bank and current account, of the Federal Bank in Kerala.

According to a press release here, the joint marketing initiative will popularise mobile banking service, already offered jointly by Federal Bank and Escotel. As per the scheme, Federal Bank account holders can go mobile with a new Escotel postpaid connection and avail free activation, which means the customer can have a two-in-one connection with the convenience of postpaid and prepaid cellular service. This scheme is valid till April 30, 2003.
