Satyam will support Microsoft solution

HYDERABAD, Oct. 8

SATYAM Computer Services Ltd has announced its support for the new Microsoft Solution for UNIX Migration (MSUM), which will assist enterprise customers who wish to migrate from UNIX To Windows.

Through the global alliance between Satyam and Microsoft, both companies share access to enterprise customers in more than 18 countries. Currently there are about 2,500 Microsoft certified Satyam associates providing Microsoft solutions to the Satyam's clients. The relationship is an example of Satyam's initiative to assist enterprise customers lower the overall cost of application development, integration and management as well as reducing required user training, according to Mr John Devasahayam, Senior Vice-President, Satyam Computer Services.

Microsoft is pleased to be working with Satyam on migrating enterprise customers to Windows, said Mr Doug Miller, Director of the Microsoft Solution for UNIX migration, Microsoft Corp.
