Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Subex Systems Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 2.06 crore for the first quarter ending June 30, 2002, a growth of 35 per cent over the preceding March quarter's Rs 1.52 crore. Revenues for the quarter grew marginally to Rs 14.5 crore (Rs 14.4 crore in March quarter).

Commenting on the results, Mr Subhash Menon, President and CEO, Subex said, ``the overall profitability has gone up owing to the products contributing about 41 per cent of the total revenues in the first quarter. This, combined with the fact that products accounted for just about 32 per cent during the last financial year indicates that our strategy to focus on products is yielding results.''
