Kerala: Old Residency Bldg to retain status

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has decided not to accept a proposal to give out the old Residency Building at Thycaud as the official residence of the Tourism Minister.

The Chief Minister, Mr A.K. Antony, gave an assurance to this effect to representatives of a group of organisations who called on him. Mr Antony made it clear that the Government does not encourage such moves.
