Clean Energy Personality award

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based Unison Technologies has awarded Dr Yogi Goswami, Professor and Director of Solar Energy and Energy Conversion Laboratory, University of Florida, US the `The Clean Energy Personality of the Year, 2001.'

He was nominated for the award by Dr Arcot Ramachandran, Chairman, Tata Energy Research Institute and patron of Unisun Technologies.

Dr Goswami is recognised as pioneer in the commercial applications of photocatalytic technology known by its trade name `Phototech.' This invention promises to revolutionise the field of water and air purification radicals.
