Software Corporate - Alliances & Joint Ventures OrbiTech, Sun Micro join hands Our Bureau
CHENNAI: Sun Microsystems has named the city-based OrbiTech Solutions Ltd, as partner for implementing e-business solutions. Sun Micro would provide the technology infrastructure, while OrbiTech would provide software applications. OrbiTech will create and deliver solutions based on Sun's Solaris system, Java and related technologies to customers in the banking and finance space. According to Mr Ashish Sinha, Senior Vice-President, Business Development, OrbiTech, ``OrbiTech will invest in building expertise in Sun technology. In return, we will receive technology and training from Sun.'' As per the agreement, OrbiTech joins Sun's eIntegration Partner program, which is a part of Sun's iForce initiative which has, under one umbrella, a range of Sun's programs, products and services.
