Kerala: Campaign against Chits Act change

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Financial Enterprises Staff Association and the KSFE Officers Union have jointly launched a signature campaign to mark their protest against the move to amend the Chits Act.

The General Secretary of CITU, Mr P.K. Gurudasan, formally declared the campaign on at a programme. KSFE workers said that the proposed amendment would put people's investments in chit funds in jeopardy as also render the very existence of the KSFE at stake.
