Thai agency to aid in shrimp research

HYDERABAD: Centex Shrimp, the Centre of Excellence for Shrimp Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Mahidol University of Bangkok, has agreed to collaborate with the Andhra Pradesh Government and research institutions in Hyderabad in promoting marine biotechnology. Centex has also agreed to collaborate with research institutions here in the field of bioinformatics and tropical bio-medicine, particularly for malaria vaccine, according to an official press release.
