Top brass of Malvika Steel quit board

NEW DELHI, May 4

IN a significant development, key board members of Malvika Steel Ltd including the company's Chairman, Dr S.K.Gupta, have quit as directors of the company.

The other members of the board who have submitted their resignations are Dr Bhaskar Dutta, Managing Director of the company, and Dr Ramesh Chander Vaish, Director. The resignations were submitted recently by them.

Dr S.K.Gupta was a nominee of the financial institutions (FIs) who was brought on the board by the institutions' as Chairman. He had replaced the promoter-Chairman Mr Vinay Rai, who had resigned from the board early this year.
