Hyderabad, Feb. 7

LIC Housing Finance Ltd (LIC HF) has set a target of extending housing loans worth Rs 300 crore, in the two-day property show which began here on Saturday.

“We sped up the sanctioning process with incentives such as concessions in processing fee and floating rates,” Mr Vincent Saldanha, Regional Manager (South Central Region) LIC HF told newspersons.

He pointed out that Andhra Pradesh was the second largest business zone for LIC HF after Delhi. LICHF, he added, had disbursed Rs 1,550 crore of housing loans last year.

The company plans to organise property shows in Chennai, Coimbatore and Delhi, he said.

Over thirty real estate developers had put up stalls at the expo, which an estimated 20,000 prospective buyers visited.
