NSIC opens Surat office

New Delhi, Nov. 19

National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) announced on Tuesday the opening of an office in Surat, Gujarat, to spread awareness on various schemes and programmes to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region. It will also provide information on vendors and technology suppliers to first generation entrepreneurs as well as existing small enterprises. NSIC already has an office at Ahmedabad. In the last six months, 203 new units have been registered under single-point registration scheme and 164 new units have obtained membership under infomediary services while six intensive campaigns have been organised in different parts of the State. –
