Expert team on Mullaperiyar

The State Cabinet has decided to depute an expert team to investigate reports of fresh leaks on the Mullaperiyar dam structure. The Chief Minister, Mr V.S. Achuthanandan, told newspersons here that retired chief engineer and Chairman of the Mullaperiyar Special Cell, Mr M. K. Parameswaran Nair, retired chief engineer Mr M. Sasidharan, and Chief Engineer Ms P. Lathika would be members on the committee.
