Pharmaceuticals Zenotech net loss widens to Rs 3.41 cr Our Bureau Hyderabad, Nov. 17 Drug maker Zenotech Laboratories reported Rs 3.41 crore net loss for the quarter ended June 30, against a net loss of Rs 2.66 crore in the same period previous fiscal. The board on Monday approved the results for the financial year ended March 31 and the first quarter ended June 30, 2009. Total income declined to Rs 1.07 crore during the quarter, against Rs 2.77 crore in the year-ago period. It also reported a net loss of Rs 10.79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, against Rs 6.65 crore. The company delayed announcement of the results as it is involved in a protracted tangle with Daiichi Sankyo of Japan over the open offer price. Since December 2008, the company board has not been able to meet due to various issues. The company recently had got a positive order from the SAT, which asked Daiichi to honour the open offer price of Rs 160 a share and not Rs 113 as it had offered. More Stories on : Pharmaceuticals
