Raring to go: A view of the low-floor buses launched in Thiruvananthapuram under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission on Tuesday. The Chief Minister, Mr V. S. Achuthanandan, flagged off the inaugural fleet of eight buses. These high-tech passenger carriers will be manned by a specially trained 20-member crew belonging to the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation. They will be officially put into service on Wednesday and will ply on routes within the city limits.
